Mike R was grateful he was able to attend Soul Circus twice working with his friend Jered S!

Jered S is the founder and former owner of Yoga Warrior Wear; one of the most innovative and incredible companies around. His quest for authenticity of the brand and quality of the product is what every business owner should strive and hope to deliver customers.
He's also a world traveler and will share his adventures on here but today Jered shares his thoughts on what Soul Circus is.

Jered closed down Yoga Warrior Wear but its transformative products and mission lives on. I still wear the shorts and pants daily!

Getting set up for Soul Circus!

As I was packing up from what felt like a weekend of mental, physical, and spiritual fulfillment, I overheard a mother and daughter asking about next year's event and watched as they eagerly purchased early bird tickets for the following year. Regardless of schedules and calendars; the two threw caution to the wind to ensure one thing; they would be coming back to the Circus next year!

What makes Soul Circus so different from other festivals out there? I suspect that it's because it doesn't feel like a festival. It feels like a family reunion. I don't know what the percentage of repeat participants is, but anecdotally, I certainly recognized a handful of people (often, by name!)  that made the pilgrimage across England to attend.

It's a small intimate environment, where people let go and regain their trust in others. They allow themselves to be vulnerable; try new classes, meet new people, and share different thoughts without the fear of judgement and ridicule of peers.

When a gathering of like-minded people come together in a field to celebrate the simple things in life like good food and health in an intricately balanced setting of indulgence and mindfulness; it feels like family. It's the reason the mother and daughter were securing their spot for next year, the reason I travel so far to get there, and the reason the overwhelming staff of volunteers are so happy to help.

Have you been to the Cotswolds in England?  How about a yoga festival adventure? Maybe it’s time to combine the two!
