Patagonia Like a Boss: Trip Itinerary
The more I read back and look over this trip to get it ready for this Patagonia blog the more I realize how badass this trip was. We seriously would drive for hours seeing no one. Not even a sign of electricity and on dirt roads. Definitely off the grid. Matt C is one of the "Four Dudes in a Van" in Mike R's Iceland Series but in this article he is sharing his amazing trip with his three other friends to Patagonia, including a day by day itinerary! Matt has been traveling the world consistently from a young age and in this article he gives us Patagonia Like a Boss!
Fitz Roy in El Chalten was where Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia) and Douglas Tompkins (North Face) developed gear and spent time. Douglas Tompkins died in a kayaking accident in Patagonia 2 weeks before we got there. We went to his grave site, he is buried behind Parque Patagonia, this is a photo of the entrance. He also founded that park and did major conservation work in the area.
Here is a rough Patagonia itinerary from our trip, this should help you get ready to plan the trip of a lifetime!
